WHAT IS A PODCAST?
What is a podcast?
A podcast is an audio show, usually spread across a series of episodes, which can be downloaded from the Internet and listened to either on a computer a phone or anything that can play Mp3s. The term, which was coined in 2004, is a portmanteau of ‘iPod’ and ‘broadcast’.

Why should I start a podcast?
Podcasts are growing in popularity. Offcom states that in the UK alone, 6 million people download and listen to a podcast every week, that number has doubled in the last five years!
If you want to have your message heard in this day and age, one of the best places to start is with a podcast. Most people aged 16-35 use podcasts as a way of learning new things and discovering ideas.
WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU
I am a musician and composer so I can compose and record you a short piece of music to go at the beginning and the end of your podcast (this helps create your podcast brand and gives your podcast its own character)
IDEAS
It can be quite daunting to start up your own podcast. I can assist with planning your first steps, your general direction and achieving what you want to from your podcast.
RECORDING
I can record all the audio material, from your own space or from one of the number of studios I have access to. Most people prefer me to come to them with my portable recording set-up, I have the best equipment that ensures crystal clear sound quality.
EDITING
I have all the software and experience to edit your podcast quickly and cleanly, leaving you with a polished slick sounding product that matches up to all the other high quality podcasts out there.
THEME MUSIC
Im a musician and composer so I can compose you a short piece of music for the start and end of your episodes to give your podcast its won identity.

I am a violinist and producer based in North London, I spend my time playing concerts around the UK and abroad and teaching violin for a number of different Universities. I have run my own successful podcast 'The Jazz Violin Podcast' since January 2018 and currently produce podcasts for a number of different people. I am passionate about podcasts, I love listening to them and I love being a part of their creation.
